Design

For custom-designed and constructed gowns, choose among fabrics that are organic, sustainable, and/or fair-trade.

The selection includes:

• • "peace" silks - no silk moths killed when harvesting the filament.
• • cotton and hemp - grown without the use of pesticides.
• • blends of silk, cotton, and hemp with other sustainable plant fibers from soy and bamboo.
• • silks and cottons dyed naturally, without chemicals.
• • Fair-trade and artisanal fabrics such as :
• • Vietnamese and Cambodian silks: hand-loomed silk fabrics provide economic development in small Asian communities.
• • Ghana batiks and block prints: 100% cotton prints from small communities in Africa.

Re-use

Your vintage or second-hand gown can be altered or re-styled to become your perfectly fitting dream gown.
